Filmemacherin Yu Sun hat einen wunderbar sensiblen Kurzfilm am Start, die Technik mit echten Wollfaeden die auf und in Papier gestickt werden war mir neu, ist aber so brilliant umgesetzt und birgt unglaubliches kreatives Potential und tiefe Emotionen, chapeau:

Needles are used to repair damage. Stay is a 5-minute animated film made using hand embroidery on tracing paper, depicting the relationship between a daughter and her absent father. It’s a reminder to spend more time with the people you love even if you are busy.

Irgendwie hat jemand diesen brillanten Short geleakt und einfach hochgeladen noch bevor er der Audience vorgestellt wurde aber immerhin war dieser jenige so fair und hat zumindest den Macher Lachlan Pendragon mit angegeben.
So hoffe ich dass er uns erhalten bleibt, es ist so wunderbar:

Ice is a beautiful element I love to work with in my video projects. I wanted to feature the ice melting aspect in timelapse process to illustrate the phenomen of global warming. Melting ice is beautiful and symbolize spring, but it can also symbolize problematic aspect of our climate.
To play with ice I used my special gear of macro photography, the famous Edelkrone ecosystem slider, my fantastic Laowa probe 24mm lens and the beautiful Nikkor 105mm macro lens. For this kind of project, the Nikon Z6 is perfect as the sensor is really sensible and efficient in dark area.

Carlos Gómez-Trigo beschert uns hier einen Horror Short und beweist dass es nicht CGI braucht um eine Story gut zu erzaehlen, sehr fein gemacht:

Heute hab ich euch einen etwas aelteren Short von Mauricio Baiocchi mitgebracht, er ist wirklich ganz zauberhaft und hey wenn Stephen Fry das spricht geht mir schwer das Herz auf, chapeau:
